This page explains what CheckMyCarDeal is, what it isn't, and the terms that apply when you use the free tools or book a paid Pre-Deal Review session.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of checkmycardeal.com (the "Site") and any Pre-Deal Review session, Guided Assessment, Free Rate Check, or other service offered by CheckMyCarDeal, operated by Omar Arteaga ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or book a session.
CheckMyCarDeal is an independent, educational car-buying resource. The Guided Assessment, Free Rate Check tool, and Pre-Deal Review sessions are designed to help you understand typical dealer financing and F&I office practices so you can negotiate and evaluate a deal with more information than you'd otherwise have.
We are not a dealership, lender, lease company, manufacturer, broker, or credit repair service, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Nothing on this Site or discussed in a session is a loan offer, a credit approval, or a guarantee of any specific rate, term, or outcome from any dealer or lender.
Omar Arteaga is a licensed Insurance Adjuster. CheckMyCarDeal is operated independently of that license and of any insurance carrier, agency, or employer. Guidance provided through this Site or a Pre-Deal Review session — including commentary on GAP insurance, extended warranties, and other F&I products — is general educational information about how these products are typically priced and sold, not a licensed insurance recommendation, insurance sale, claims adjustment, or a formal insurance producer engagement. No insurer-client or adjuster-client relationship is created by using this Site or booking a session.
Similarly, nothing provided is legal, tax, or accounting advice, and no attorney-client, CPA-client, or fiduciary relationship is created. For advice specific to your legal, tax, or insurance situation, consult a licensed professional in your state.
The Guided Assessment and Free Rate Check tool produce estimates based on the ranges you select (income tier, credit score band, debt level, down payment, and target budget). These are educational estimates only, calculated in your browser — they are not a lender quote, a credit decision, or a guarantee of the rate, payment, or terms you will actually be offered.
We currently offer three paid session formats: Single Review ($149), Deal Journey Package ($299), and Deal Journey Plus ($399), as described on the Site at the time you book. Submitting the request form is not a purchase — it is a request for us to contact you to confirm scope, scheduling, and payment before any paid session begins. Pricing, inclusions, and availability may change at any time and do not apply retroactively to sessions already confirmed.
"If I don't find at least one thing your dealer didn't tell you, your session is free." This guarantee applies only to a completed, paid Pre-Deal Review session where you provide accurate and complete information about your specific deal, vehicle, and financing offer. If, after a full session, we identify no cost, fee, product, or negotiation point you were not already aware of, the fee for that session will be waived or refunded — this is the sole and exclusive remedy under this guarantee.
Except as expressly provided under the Session Guarantee in Section 6, all fees for completed Pre-Deal Review sessions are final and non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your vehicle purchase, financing application, or negotiation. This includes situations where you decide not to act on the guidance provided, where a dealer does not honor a negotiated term, or where your circumstances change after the session. If you need to reschedule a session before it takes place, contact us and we will work with you in good faith to find a new time.
We do not guarantee that any dealer, lender, or third party will honor a negotiated rate, price, or term, or that following our guidance will result in savings of any particular amount. Figures such as "estimated at-risk dollars" are illustrative averages for buyers with a similar profile, not a prediction about your specific deal.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckMyCarDeal and Omar Arteaga are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or a session, including but not limited to financial loss related to a vehicle purchase or financing decision. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or a paid session is limited to the amount you paid for that session.
The contact form is processed through Formspree, and our WhatsApp line operates under Meta's WhatsApp platform. Your use of those channels is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of dealerships, lenders, insurers, or other third parties you interact with as a result of guidance provided here.
The content, design, and tools on this Site are owned by CheckMyCarDeal / Omar Arteaga and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating a vehicle purchase.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a session will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
We may update these Terms as the Site or our services change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or booking of a session after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
